Is There A Baby Gate Around Your Christmas Tree?
What the child sees:
A barricade
A hindrance to the acquisition of good things
A beautiful vision- just out of reach
What the parent sees:
A door that will be opened when the time is right
A help during a time when self-control may be lacking
A beautiful vision, protected until the day it can be experienced in full
Has God put a baby gate around your Christmas tree?

Wow. Can I use that in my sermon this week? Ok, maybe not this week--but sometime?
Thanks for your interest in my blog. I am not on Twitter though, sorry. I am on facebook as Leah DeLaughter, if you want to look me up. There are only two of us, and I am the one NOT in San Diego, Ca.
Hehe, no gate, just unbreakable ornaments (until our kids are older) and LOTS of reminders about gentle touches. But I have several friends with the Superyard around their tree-- seems to help keep the presents off limits, too. ;)
